Sunny Rhyl A won the Vale of Clwyd league on Thursday night by beating Kinmel Bay A 11-3 at home which confirmed the league.
We also won the F.G Andrew shield beating Abergele A in the final and losing finalists in the journal cup.
I would just like to congratulate all the players and squad members who played, marked & measured aswell as helping out in the kitchen for home games. Could of been a perfect season in terms of trophies however we won every league game home and away which wasn't an easy task. Not sure of the record books but I think this is the first time Rhyl have gone all season unbeaten since 1994 when my uncle, Harry Royle was captain. (I maybe wrong as it may of been done in 1997!) For me to repeat this the way weve done it this year is a very good achievement.
Not sure what next year will bring in terms of us remaining in the league, however if we do pull out weve finished in style.
