Believe it is the 2nd Week in Feb    which would make it 13th February but not seen the actual date confirmed as to this ..

2007 is the latest I have but I would imagine the AGM date format is the same,,  it has been on that date for the last few years at least.

As soon as I definitley know I will post it on here.

If my memory serves me right, The AGM is now to be in a CENTRAL location EVERY YEAR ...........RHYL

Think the 13th February is correct (to be confirmed) but more importanlty, if things are not discussed at area level (excluding WCGBA events) prior, i.e in good time to be discussed at a WCGBA meeting before AGM in January..........can see little point!!!!!!!!!

AGM is for ratification purposes ( most of the time by experience)

How does anyone get onto the WCGBA Management/Committee apart from the main officials and the area reps or is that it ??

Just thinking if someone offers to do something for the benefit of Welsh Bowls  ....  Wink  Wink  Wink  Idea  Idea

Personally, would contact the CEO Ivor Williams to offer services on the WCGBA  Ivor6@aol.com.............would expect he would be very glad of the enquiry  Very Happy  Very Happy

Can always go through there ' area '

Have to say, WCGBA meetings not essential to attend, especially with email etc !!!!!!!! but always best to attend, if one is expecting a fight for change/propose etc to voice there opinion personally !!!!! Wink

Cool ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING
    The Annual General Meeting is to be held on the Second Saturday in February, each year.  

      The Agenda for the Annual General Meeting will be drawn up by the Chief Executive, and approved by the Management Committee.

Why has the AGM date been changed I don't remember it being altered at the AGM ??

freak, you can always attend the WCGBA AGM and ask someone to propose you as the Development Officer especially as the current officer already holds this and another two jobs so he may be happy to pass it on to you.

Alternatively, another position for you is the Welsh Liaison Officer.

Another unfilled position every year is the WCGBA Drugs Officer and should be on the WCGBA AGM agenda annually because the position has never been removed officially at an AGM by a formal proposition.
