Hi Geraint, would an official proposal be required regarding the qualification process for the WPA ? If so, can you inform me of the way in which i submit such a proposal.
Many thanks. Yance.

Hi Geraint, you will know what my proposal is, based on the posts made following this years qualifying rounds.
If you ensure that all interested parties pay their entrance fee for qualification beforehand, you know that it would be less likely to have people not turning up. On the 21st of Sept, a post of yours said that some members were willing to pay £25 to enter, well i dont need to tell you that if people pay that much, there is no way that they will fail to attend.
If you limit the entry to 36, @ 12 groups of 3, then you have a fair round robin system. It would help to have a reserve list, to cover the possibility of an absense due to unforeseen circumstances.
Ultimately in a worst case scenario, if you still end up with groups of 3,&4 due to missing persons, then you make sure that the players in groups of 4, play all 3 games, and not just 2, as was the case this year.
A post was forwarded following this years qualifier, and i quote, it stated, IF YOU ALLOW A WINNER TO PLAY A LOSER IN GAME 2 OF A GROUP OF 4, YOU COULD END UP WITH ALL 4 PLAYERS WINNING 1 GAME, AND CONSEQUENTLY, THE WINNER WOULD BE DECIDED BY AGGREGATE. The post went on to say that it would be NONSENSE if that happened, and by using your current system of a winner playing a winner, you at least had someone who had won 2 games. Well Geraint, you have said that you are in favour of 12 groups of 3, so whats the difference ? you can have 3 players who each win 1 game, and the eventual qualifier goes through on aggregate. I hope to hear off you, and also hope that this will be discussed at the AGM. Regards, Yance.

Lets be honest something does need changing as current method used didnt work last time at Coedpoeth or did it?
Also am i right in thinking that the WPA is used to VET greens for possible use in county matches.??? If YES what percentage of greens used in WPA have actually been used in county games? If NO why??

WPA been going 2 seasons may have something to do with it Nick, but one can only do it with positive feedback!!!! but change could be on the cards

Some Welsh officials are very dissulusioned with some negativity in some areas!!!!!! and unless more people attend there area meetings ( instead of on here or the pub) can see very little changing
