Ok right then the playtime over all the recces ---practice maneuvers, tactics all go out the window as you find that the greens different under competition games ,then like me you find you on the flat green ,but its not flat its a hard green like the main crown-green ,still here goes cameras ,bowls water .shade all to hand by 10 am ,played my game before 12 and yes won to 12 ,this meant i need to win one more then i through to the main comp the masters ,this being the Thomas Taylor comp,run in conjunction to the masters .
Phew long hard day absolutely razzed out so make way to apartment then to the pool too cool and have a long soak ,thought about going to the bar-b-q but alas to knackered so had night in on own as Roy got ready and popped along ,well i say popped along meant he was taken from the apartment to the club hose by a taxi on site so yes we were well looked after ,me and wife settled down i did my notes wife cooked tea and then we made passionate love on the floo then the bed then the balcony then mmm. by gum i can tell a tale ,ha ha ha .
No just chilled out talked about the day and hoped i play well next day ,Roy came in staggering about drunk as a skunk ,then stood up laughing ,he play acting ha ha .we had a chat then up the dancers to bed little did i no that it had taken that much out of me as by morning of day 5 and 2 day of comp no sleep i was weakish giddy and so tired i did not want to go to the greens ,had a shower did my usual and staggered up to it ,not very well all day running hot cold weak and blinding head ache luckily no one said owt wrong i just tried to carry on ,even went on green twice could not bend to deliver nearly walked of ,boy oh boy was i upset that night,but thats for the next post ,
